we would like to inform you that after successful completion of business negotiations, Scandinavian consultant company Sweco entered into partnership with Hydrocoop Ltd. as majority owner. The goal of the acquisition is to strengthen the market position in the field of water management and environment in Central and Eastern Europe.

Hydrocoop Ltd. becomes subsidiary of Sweco since 1 October 2011. Hydrocoop Ltd. currently employs about 20 consultant specialists who provide professional solutions primarily in the field of water and waste management. The most challenging tasks in the previous period were reconstruction projects of central WWTP Bratislava, WWTP Petrzalka and the design of sewerage system in Malokarpatsky region. Together with Sweco we can achieve a strong position on the Slovak market with high quality services and suitable economic level for current and new customers. Our goal is to strengthen the position of Sweco on the Slovak market and actively participate on its progressive growth in Central and Eastern Europe.
